Bad pandemic management - taking money
We booked with them back in 2020 (a van for lots of days so a large amount of money) and were looking forward to the trip. However, the pandemic hit and different state goverment closed and further restrictions.

The trip then had to be cancelled and they refunded a part but they retained a portion, even though every company was fully refunding due to the pandemic. The actual van company was ok for the money to be refunded but DriveNow as an intermediary refused.

In the end, DriveNow offered a credit to be used afterwards. We tried for the credit to be used by friends as they advised it could be posible, however they did not cooperate to make it happen. In the end we have not been able to return to Australia and are asking for the refund over and over again.

Don't entertain buying from these liars unless you view the car, even then.....
I discussed purchasing a 2 year old Kia Stinger GTS with 8k miles from the Cardiff branch and because I live 180 miles away I asked for a video of the car. It looked okay and so agreed to buy the car subject to a test drive and paid a £250 deposit. I was told the car would be serviced and prepared for sale and they would let me know when it was ready for collection. Five days later I was told the car was ready and it was 'Immaculate', friends drove me down to Cardiff and as soon as I saw the car I was seriously angry - the rear bumper was a noticeably different shade of red to the rest of the car & much duller. The sales rep' tried to insist that it hadn't been resprayed and said it was due to the bumper being plastic....so the paint appears a different shade! Why is the front bumper the same shade as the rest of the car then ? The car hadn't even been washed or valeted & there was damage to one of the sills where it looked like it had been dropped off a jack. There was no apology from the sales staff for falsely bringing us 180 miles, I even heard him say to another staff member 'he doesn't want it now - what does he expect from a 2 year old car '? Needless to say I left the dealership within 10 minutes with my deposit returned !

WORST SCAMMERS. THIS COMPANY MUST BE AVOIDED @ ALL COSTS THEREFORE, THEY are SCAMMERS THEY NEVER CONTACT BUYERS/ OR THEIR CUSTOMERS. ITS LIKE BUYERS HAVE COMMITTED CRIME BY APPROACHING THEM. THEY NEVER EVEN HONOR THEIR THREE MONTHS WARRANTY. after PURCHASING ANY VEHICLE.THEY DON’T EVEN ANSWER and GIVES RUNAROUND. ONCE YOU HAVE PURCHASED. UNHELPFUL.. NO MINUS STAR RATINGS. CANTERBURY BRANCH (LX) EXPERIENCE.
I HAVE NEVER FACE THIS KIND WORSE DEALER EVER
AND YES THEY HAVE SOME FIVE STAR REVIEWS, I THINK THEY ARE MUST BE FROM DEALER FAMILY

Not returning money
I heard that Drive Now was going to suspend its activity in Lisbon so I wanted to request a refund of the refundable amount that I have in the customer's account. I have already sent an email more than two weeks ago and still have not received a reply. When contacting via phone you are told to continue to wait.

I’ve never had issues with DriveNow in…
I’ve never had issues with DriveNow in the past. Never! But since migrating to ShareNow I’ve had every issue imaginable. I’m not able to unlock the cars because it says error every time I try to do so. They’ve always been known for having an excellent customer service but this time it’s completely useless and full of attitude. I’m still not I’m to unlock any of the cars and no help from customers service at all.

Not worth it at all! It is super expensive compared to similar companies and customer service is useless. I am not surprise they are forced to discontinue the service.

Great company
Great company. So sad that they are ending their service in london. The app works great. Consumer service is always very quick and helpful. Never had a problem, really don't understand all these negative reviews. Based on my experience using the company I would have to guess they are annoying entitled people. One problem I had was the refundable fee they charge for every rental but once you know this is how they do business you just take it into account when using drive now. It is a small fee and it is always refunded. Any great company, great cars, great price and great customer service.

Been using this service in London for the past few months and it's been great. Easy to use, really nice cars and great value for money. Can't fault it really. Very sad that it seems to be closing down soon.

Taking them to court! False allegation.
For the first time ever we decided to try out a rental service in Budapest. We normally don’t use such services as we do prefer driving our own car. My husband and I have a premium manual BMW 320 and we appreciate the luxury of maintaining high end vehicles. We both have over 15 years of experience. Additionally we don’t have any record of auto accidents or damaging personal cars. We are self made entrepreneurs who know the value of money, businesses, humanity, ethical approach to life generally. And the very first time we decided to try out Drive Now service since they offer premium cars that we would be interested trying out. We read all the FAQs, learned about the app, and were ready for it. We were on our way to Thanksgiving dinner that evening. We found the nearest car, and were following every direction was given by the app. We got it, safely drove that Mini Cooper to our destination, parked the car. As we got out the app asked to take photos after using the car. Which we did. Right there and then, I thought to myself, how come the app doesn’t ask to take photos before getting into the vehicle. I did make a note in my mind that when leaving a review to them, I should mention about taking photos beforehand. When we took photos after parking the car at our destination, we did see the scratches and stuff. But we were absolutely sure that this has been reported to the company by previous users as the scratches were present prior to our use. Few days later, we get an email in Hungarian from Andras accusing us in damaging the car! We sent all the photos we took that day of the car, and encouraged them to focus on the users before us as we are 100% sure that the scratch was not ours, moreover we would not even think of getting away with this if it was us! They got back to us with false allegations and charging us a whooping 1000 euros for something that my husband and I DID NOT DO! Unless Drive Now doesn’t change their app to being more transparent, and asking users explicitly to take photos before and after, there will be a lot more of lawsuits happening! Next time they hear from us is from our lawyer at the court!
